“BREWMITE II blends over-the-top action, nostalgic grit and a surprising emotional arc as Jason battles for glory, and maybe something more.” – PEOPLE
PEOPLE Magazine covered the premiere of BREWMITE II, our 17-minute short film that mutated into a full-on martial arts epic. We held the world premiere at The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA—yes, the same theater from The Blob—and packed the place with fans, friends, and a ton of chaos. Jason was out front telling reporters the whole idea was basically: what if Bloodsport, but for beer? From there, we just kept stacking it—Travis, Chuck Liddell, Ed Kelce, Beau Allen, and more fight scenes than anyone asked for.
I was stoked to see PEOPLE not only cover the event but also quote me in the piece. That’s a pretty surreal milestone, and I’m pumped about how much attention this little “lo-fi beer movie” keeps grabbing. Jason put it perfectly at the premiere: “We can go dumber.” And that’s exactly what we’re gonna keep doing.
